About{About the band}With lyrical content including sex, drugs, rock-n-roll and Mother Earth, Agave Love combines lyrical genius with catchy riffs that will make any fan bob their head AND think. This powerhouse foursome guarantees a rockin' good time as the music, and the tequila, flows through the audience. Agave Love formed in 2007 with Kenneth May (bass) pulling Segis Ramirez (vocals/guitar) out of a three-year retirement from Picasso's Radio. The musical chemistry between the two was undeniable and the songwriting began to flourish. Feeling the band could use another guitar slinger, May recruited Carlos Gomez to assist Segis on rhythm and lead guitar. Gomez's crunchy riffs and sweet melodic guitar leads rounded out the Agave Love sound. With one last missing piece of Agave Love, meeting through mutual friends at '08 ACL Fest, Segis recruited Jasmine Sedillo (AKA Jaz) to play drums. Sedillo brought elements of Metallica drummer, Lars Ulrich, and the late Jon Bonham. Her agressive style of drumming gives the band a heavy, driving sound that will have you entraced throughout the entire set. The #1 priority is to have fun and Agave Love does just that. The outcome is a song list that contains a mixture of straight-up, crunchy rock riffs with easy flowing odd-time diddys. This band of friends continues to put the final touches on the tunes that will go on their first album as Agave Love.
